Prayer to my Savior King – feel free to pray this along with me, as I certainly know that the Lord is also working in your life, taking you deeper, and calling you into obedience moment by moment, regardless of if that feels simple or intimidating.
King Jesus, you’re calling me deeper. You’re calling me to deeper faith, obedience, and love. I’m scared but I trust you!
You are calling me higher. You’re making me look more like you as my heart begins to cry, “Father, not my will but yours be done”. You have no body but mine, so may you be glorified in me! I’ll go where you lead and walk in your truth. That feels wild and risky, but I trust you! I cannot outrisk your faithfulness.
To live is Christ! May my life be a fragrant offering to you. All that I am and all that I have is yours. Every breath I take is a gift from the Giver of Life. Only what’s done for Christ will last, so I choose you.
I choose the narrow way. I choose to deny myself, take up my cross, and go where you lead. You’re worth following. You are a trustworthy leader, you are a faithful Father, and you are a Good Shepherd. Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all of my days.
